The Tin Man: The body of the tin man was made from 5 stacked small oval pan cakes. His head and arms were formed with rice krispy treats and his legs were cake baked in small soup cans. The feet were formed with rice krispy treats and his hands were made from fondant. The funnel hat was made from gumpaste. everything was doweled secure (except the arms which were secured to the body using royal icing) and covered in fondant. I used a tinted grey fondant and then airbrushed it using an alcohol and silver luster dust mixture.
